Wood Selection
The incredible beauty and endless pattern variety of natural exotic hardwoods is appreciated by everyone. The rust red colors of Padauk,
(the “wood of kings”), the vivid yellow of Osage Orange and Yellow Heart, the polished contrasting brilliance of Blackwood, the unique
purple found only in Purple Heart, the amazing black and tan wandering grain of Bocote, and the haunting natural green in Lignum Vitae,
are just a few of the many natural hardwood colors used in my products.
All of the woods come from registered wholesalers who purchase only from renewable farms and groves around the world. The jewelry and
gifts are all hand made by me in my shop. Although I consider each a unique work of art, I have also designed them to be safe and rugged
enough for generations of use and play. The old time feel of the products is derived from my father's Amish and Mennonite ancestors where
toys were hand made at home.
